The Norumbega, graciously overlooking beautiful Penobscot Bay, is one of Maine’s most distinguished properties. Originally built in 1886, the house exudes the charm and whimsy of its gilded age owner, mixed generously with the warm southern hospitality of its newest owner, Will Tims. Beloved by all who pass by, the stone castle in Camden, Maine is a destination unlike any other. Eleven unique guestrooms – including two suites – offer thoughtful amenities and a welcome respite. In addition to numerous firelit seating areas, a lushly planted terrace, and sprawling landscaped grounds, we offer sumptuous multi-course breakfasts, craft cocktails, wine, and personable service.
The Norumbega will close to guests on November 2, 2022 in order for us to complete a comprehensive renovation of the house. Reservations are currently being accepted for late Spring / early Summer 2023. We look forward to hosting you then, and encourage you to follow us @norumbega (Instagram and Facebook) for updates around the re-design and our progress!
