Picture yourself in a mansion built in 1886 for an unforgettable weekend of murder, mystery, and mayhem.  Did the staff do it?  Are there secret passages  and hidden staircases?  Who knows, you might just run into Agatha Christie.  Over the weekend as you assume a sinister character, you will have a chance to solve these questions and a murder.  These murder mysteries are written exclusively for your weekend at Norumbega.

Our traditional  Mystery Weekend, a two-night event, commences Friday evening with a reception, followed by a light supper.  As you greet other guests in costume and character, the mystery begins .  Be alert and aware as clues abound all evening.

Saturday morning, guests gather in Norumbega's elegant dining room for a seated breakfast after which there is an intense interrogation about the events that occurred the previous evening.During the day you are free to explore Camden, read a book by the fir or hone your detective skills by reviewing the clues you have collected.  At 6pm sharp, everyone gathers for cocktails followed by a four-course gourmet dinner accompanied by select wines.  After dinner the mystery is solved and the winner of a FREE NIGHT at Norumbega is announced.  Sunday morning guests gather fir a delicious breakfast buffet before ending the weekend.

Upon confirmation of your reservaion, you will receive a call from the castin director to cast you in your role and assist you with sugestions for costumes, props, and answer any questions you may have.
