We welcome you to visit the NEW Norumbega Inn, Maine’s stone castle by the sea.

An iconic landmark in the heart of beautiful Mid-Coast Maine, The Norumbega Inn is reopening under new ownership. Upscale yet comfortable, Camden’s premier Bed & Breakfast is being brought back to life by its new owners, Sue Walser & Phil Crispo. In addition to the historic and unique architecture of The Norumbega, you will find that the location, attention to detail, and gracious service sets it apart as one of the best Camden lodging options available.

Simple things done exceptionally well.

We are proud and honored to renovate the castle, bringing its heart and soul back to life. Each of our 11 guest rooms (including 2 luxurious suites) is unique and possesses its own style, layout and décor, as well as its own bathroom. The Inn also has a central living room, sitting room, library, ‘couples’ landing, dining room and solarium all on the main floor. We also have several decks for outdoor seating. With nearly 4 acres of land, there is space to breathe, relax and take everything in.

To enhance your stay, we also provide creative cuisine in our daily breakfast menu, prepared by Chef Phil Crispo, most recently an instructor with the world reknown Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York.  Guests have the option of joining hosts Sue & Phil for dinner each night in our dining room, where the menu is prepared daily, driven by market catch, farm harvest and what's in season.  Reservations for this unique experience are strongly advised.

Join us in the adventure of bringing The Norumbega Inn back to life!  We are taking reservations now for Memorial Day and beyond.

A stay with us is an indulgence.
